Revelio Privacy Policy

Revelio is a security-focused Chrome extension that helps detect potentially hidden text on webpages.

Summary

Data Revelio Accesses

Revelio accesses webpage content on the active tab only when you explicitly initiate a scan (for example, by clicking the extension button or a scan action in the extension UI).

This may include page text, styling information (such as colors and font sizes), and elements that could be used to hide text (for example, off-screen positioning or very small font sizes).

How Revelio Uses Data

The scanned page content is processed locally on your device to generate:

Data Storage

Revelio does not store your scanned page content on external servers. Any temporary data used to compute results exists only in memory while the scan is running.

Clipboard Use

Revelio copies results to your clipboard only when you click a button such as Copy JSON. Revelio does not access or read your clipboard contents.

Data Sharing

Revelio does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. Revelio does not transmit scanned page content to external servers.

What Revelio Does Not Do

Third-Party Services

Revelio does not integrate with third-party analytics, ad networks, or external content-processing services.

Children’s Privacy

Revelio is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.
